Exploring Henna Art with Relyef: A Tribute to Ivanka Švarcová

At Relyef, we love seeing our tools used in ways we never imagined. One of our most unique collaborations began with the artist Ivanka Švarcová, who brought a fresh perspective to our designs.

From Pottery Tools to Henna Design

Ivanka started a project with us to test how Relyef Stencils could work as a foundation for Henna painting. She used our patterns as a structural "map" and outline for intricate henna designs, applying them to the body and other surfaces.

This experiment showed a beautiful cross-over between the world of pottery textures and the delicate art of henna.

A Journey Interrupted

While we had hoped to develop this project further, its commercial continuation was sadly cut short by Ivanka’s passing. Although she is no longer with us, the work she started remains a testament to her creativity and innovative spirit.

Continuing the Vision

Although this specific collaboration cannot move forward as originally planned, Ivanka’s work remains a reminder that our tools are only the beginning of the creative process. We are honored to have been part of her artistic exploration.
