From Brno to the World: The Story of RainbowWedge
How It All Began: When Great Minds (and Hands) Meet
It all started with a simple vision: to bring the adrenaline and technicality of traditional climbing ("trad") safely onto indoor climbing walls. To create a product like the RainbowWedge, we knew we had to collaborate with the absolute best in the industry.
The heart of our belay mechanism is fine-tuned with the legendary manufacturer Kouba Climbing while we collaborate with Reply Volumes on the development of profiles and climbing wall solutions. The result? A tool that isn't rushing, but is steadily conquering the world - from military training centers to local community gyms.
Tested by Legends, Approved by Masters
We aren’t fans of "corporate" marketing; we believe in authenticity. That’s why we were so honored when, during three editions of the MHFF in Teplice nad Metují, world-class legends got their hands on our Wedges.

"When world-class climbing meets Czech design: Adam Ondra visiting our studio to give feedback on the RainbowWedge prototype."
Adam Ondra, Tomáš Mrázek , Chris Sharma, Lynn Hill and Petr Prachtel all had the chance to see how a Czech idea is becoming a global standard.

"Our booth at the Teplice festival became a meeting point for generations. We discussed the RainbowWedge with icons like Chris Sharma, Petr Prachtel, and Dušan 'Stoupa' Janák. Their interest in our technical solutions confirms that we are on the right track."
When it comes to field testing (and on the wall), we rely on the most qualified experts:

"The RainbowWedge is alive. The development and testing involve the best in the industry: experts from Kouba Climbing and Replay Volumes, alongside elite climbers Aneta Loužecká, Oliver Hamerský, and the legendary Tomáš Mrázek."
-
Aneta Loužecká: A drytooling champion who brings essential precision to our testing.
-
Oliver Hamerský: A powerhouse dominating both drytooling and our own discipline, Parallel Climbing.
-
Stoupa (Dušan Janák) & Gabo Adamec: Experienced mountain guides and climbers who know that safety and detail matter most.
From Brno to the World (and Back to the Workshop)
Today, you can find our footprints all over the map. Wedges are installed on walls in:
-
Innsbruck (the heart of Austrian climbing),
-
Seattle (the cradle of American outdoor culture),
-
Jakarta, France, Holland, and the LA Skala gym in Žilina, Slovakia.
Back home in the Czech Republic, our base is the HUDY wall in Brno, and the first historic competitions were hosted by World Champion Tomáš Mrázek at his gym, Komec Brno. We also look out for the next generation, actively cooperating with the Lezčata Kuřim club and their local climbing wall.
Unique Insight: From the Rélyéf Workshop
This is where the circle closes. Since our brand Rélyéf Pottery Tools manufactures tools for ceramicists, we wanted to create something more meaningful for our competition winners than just a plastic trophy.
At the Vera Luna Atelier, we took our hand press and special extruders to create something unique. We pressed profiles that mirror the shape and structure of our climbing gear and used our own custom stamps to brand them with the discipline’s logo. The result? Unique mugs - a symbol of the joy that both movement and creation bring us. To ensure you can see this process in action, the team from Ineoweb captured the entire journey on film.
Check our Instagram reel.

"Tradition and innovation in practice. This trophy mug was created using our templates and unique custom 3D-printed Relyef stamps, designed specifically for youth climbing competitions. It showcases how modern technologies from our Brno-based studio help breathe life into authentic ceramic craftsmanship."
The Future is in Synergy
We aren't in a hurry. We are building an ecosystem of brands that share the same DNA: quality, innovation, and a human approach. We believe that more partners around the world will soon join us in hosting Parallel Climbing events.
